Three great Bat-titles out this week!
BATMAN #11 by Scott Snyder & Greg Capullo wraps up the epic Court of Owls storyline that has been ongoing since the relaunch. Epic final fight between Batman and [spoiler]. And of course, a bit of an open ending. Up next, #12 deals with the character Harper, the chick briefly seen in Batman #7. Then it’s issue #0 in September, a retelling of Year One. Then in October, the new story arc focusing on The Joker starts!
BATMAN AND ROBIN #11 by Peter J. Tomasi & Patrick Gleason has Damien continuing his quest to prove he’s the best Robin by taking on Jason Todd. Also, the Batfreaks start branding the citizens of Gotham with the Bat symbol, which really pisses off Batman.
BATGIRL #11 by Gail Simone & Ardian Syaf continues Batgirl’s struggle with her newest foe Knightfall. Backstory is revealed of both the villain and cop Melody McKenna. Also, Barbara’s psycho brother James Jr. puts the moves on her roommate. Future issues will feature Batwoman, Catwoman, the Talon that Batgirl fought during the Night of the Owls, and an exploration of her backstory and spinal injury in issue #0 (hopefully it will touch on Oracle).
